TRUE, REAL NEWS ABOUT AND FROM VENEZUELA

January 4, 2003

Folks, Visitors, Friends,

If you are interested in first-hand information about
the current crisis in Venezuela, then kindly visit
our VENEZUELA NEWS BULLETIN at:

http://www.franz-lee.org/venezuela00001.html

In this age of infowarfare, the official global mass media are
the main agents of distributing one-sided half-truths
against progressive or truly democratic governments.

We are sitting right here in the voracious oil beak of the
"noble eagle", of Behemoth, in Venezuela, and we are
trying to inform the world what is really and truly happening
here.

New Year Wishes,

Franz.

Thank you, Franz! I speak only for myself, but this is just what I was looking for. Please pass along my thanks to CarlZim for introducing me to this source of information a while back.

I read and reread the Toronto Star article of December/02, re the current strike in Venezuela. When I first read it originally, I thought it was effectively suggesting everyone stay within the laws of the land, and also suggesting foreign powers (OAS) insist upon that. A second reading makes me realize there is another way to interpret that article.

I have limited experience with the Toronto Star. I do know that they frequently champion the rights of the underdog, if you will forgive the expression. I am rarely swayed by Editorial comment; I use it to get opinions from all sides of the situation where ever possible.

Thank you for adding your source. It is vast and vastly fascinating.

Peace.

Franz. I encourage all to visit your site, and ask themselves how the Venezuela crisis affects their daily lives. Here's how it affects mine: Carl From a forum:
A massive negative that has come about since the end of the Cold War has been corporate dominance of the individual here in the US.  http://www.commondreams.org/views02/1226-04.htm
Then trade unions here have been  beaten  down to the point of near nonexistence.  Why?  Well there is really no competition for the hearts and minds of the laboring class  The corporations use and abuse their employees with a merry abandon these days an
d who can say where it is all going to end?  Corruption in the corporate boardrooms has a long history here and the recent scandals were just some of the more outrageous.  There is no longer Marxism out there to freeze the blood of the fatcats but maybe
the new laws will help.  If not we are doomed to evolve into a Roman type society with the wealth/power in the hands of the few and the rest living the life of modern day helots.
